Product Description

Santos watch, small model, quartz movement. Yellow gold 750/1000 case, 7-sided crown set with a faceted sapphire, silver sunray-effect dial, blued-steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Yellow gold 750/1000 bracelet, second bracelet in dark blue alligator leather with yellow gold 750/1000 ardillon buckle. Both straps are fitted with an interchangeability system. Dimensions: 27 mm x 34.5 mm, thickness: 7.08 mm. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 metres).

About the Collection

1904. Louis Cartier granted the wish of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont: to be able to tell the time while flying. The birth of one of the first ever wristwatches sealed the bonds of friendship between these two pioneers. The rounded angles of the dial, seamless curve of the horns, and the exposed screws made for an iconic watch that would inspire countless reinterpretations.
